Social media internship – Summer 2017

The Chicago Reporter is looking for a paid social media intern to work part-time for the summer. We pay a monthly stipend.

You have experience with social media campaigns, a demonstrated knowledge of racial justice issues and are a graduate student, a recent college graduate or a college senior with strong writing skills.

You don’t have to be a journalism or communications major. But you do have to be a serious news and policy consumer, understand how to use social media to engage people and support our mission to investigate racial inequality.

If you fit the bill, email your resume (as a Word attachment, not Google Docs) and a cover letter to Executive Editor Lorraine Forte at Include “social media intern” in the subject line.

Deadline to apply is May 15, 2017.
